Built and commissioned an ARRI-certified large-scale virtual production studio: ten render servers driving a vast curved canvas of Ruby 2.3c LED.
Morph / Founder
Software engineer, technical artist and virtual production supervisor.
Joe has more than twenty years in technology, and has spent most of the last decade making real-time systems behave under pressure. He started out as a software engineer on live events for sport, film and corporate clients, building the World Athletics live-graphics control system used at more than ten championships, before moving into virtual production as a senior technical artist on the ARRI x CT stage in London.
Since then he has supervised more than 25 virtual production shoots, led technology for a virtual production studio, built LED volumes for film and television, and commissioned a large-scale studio in Riyadh. He supervises the shoot, writes the tools, and speaks both languages on set: the director’s and the render node’s.
Joe holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Games) from the University of Brighton. He’s based in Brighton and works regularly in Riyadh. He’s an early adopter of agentic AI and generative tools, and straight with clients about where they don’t belong.

Built and commissioned an ARRI-certified large-scale virtual production studio: ten render servers driving a vast curved canvas of Ruby 2.3c LED.
Integrated a custom motion-control rig with the LED volume for the film’s driving sequences.
The production set two Guinness World Records: the largest film stunt explosion, and the most high explosives detonated in a single film take.
Virtual production supervision on the ARRI x CT stage for the promo directed by DOM&NIC.
The production won the British Arrows 2024 Craft Gold for Innovative Use of Realtime 3D.
A driving sequence through a burning forest, rendered as high-fidelity 2D plates from Unreal and nDisplay. Joe pioneered pixel-mapping the new MBS Pixel Brute, driving hard and soft light for fire, embers and sunlight straight from the playback.
2D playback integrated with DMX lighting fixtures, so the practical light followed the plates. The production was featured in British Cinematographer.
